The rooms are like cabins and are surrounded by tropical trees.

The place is very clean, the food is very good, and the service is excellent, supplied by the gay staff.

The golden banana is close to everything, yet fairly quiet for a peaceful stay.

There are plenty of tuk tuks outside if you need a ride anywhere.All reasonably priced.

Most of the staff speak good English.

There is a beautiful clean swimming pool, and after the long day walking around the temples and wats in the hot sun, it's so nice to have a cold beer and a refreshing dip.

There are plenty of good food outlets just up the road a little, which helps make this a pleasant guesthouse in Siem Reap.

This is the road walking away from the golden banana.It can get quite flooded during the wet season.

Rooms here start from around $15 US.

All in all a good place to stay.
