Thailand Hua-Hin Is The Perfect Place For Your Family Vacation.
Yesss.. Im on my way to Thailand Hua-Hin again. I just love getting off the plane at Bangkok, once through customs, which is generally quite quick,I collect my bag, then my holiday begins. First thing I do is take a huge breath, I know that sounds funny, but I just love the smell of Asia.It certainly lets me know that I am a long way from home. Then on to one of my favorite spots in Thailand, Hua-Hin, a great place for a family vacation.
LocationHua-Hin is south of Bangkok and the trip takes about three and a half hours in a mini van. You can also bus, train or fly. Hua-hin attractionsHere you will find a great coast line with beautiful beaches.It is an old fishing town, so plenty of boats, a jetty, and some great family resorts.There is a top class golf course, and plenty of eating places.Good quality hotels and guest houses are everywhere, ranging from two star upwards.
Best spotMy favorite area is down by the beach, where there are a lot of jetties that stretch out over the ocean.The ends of these have restaurants which are open air and above the ocean.Its a fabulous spot for eating with a beautiful setting.Shop till you drop

Shopping is great here with a huge night market, supported by many smaller shops selling everything you could think of.
I must tell youI will be honest and add that there is a red light district here, which is not for everyone, although it is a great area to have a drink at the many bars.I do think Hua-Hin is kept under wraps a little, as the king of Thailand has a residence here, and often stays at the palace which is open to visitors. When in Thailand Hua-Hin is my base, believe me it is truly a lovely place for your family vacation.
